1991 Santego 38 chain storage
The used boat I purchased never had a windlass. Is there enough room in the chain locker to mount a vertical windlass, or should it be a horizontal windlass? I want to use all chain. Thank you.

Deakin, I have an 89 3867 Santego ( I believe it was called the 640 in 91) and mine came from the factory with Simpson Lawrence “Seawolf” horizontal windless. I have approximately 300 feet of chain. Hope that helps some.
