Salon Door Drapery

Post by oriypom »

My salon door drapery (curtain) is showing some wear and dirt. It is hung top and bottom by sliding hardware. It is a light brown color and Im in Florida so there is some sunfade also. has anyone cleaned this drapery or replaced it?

I made a new one for my 355. Really wasn't that difficult. Sailrite sells the little tab things that go into the track. Elastic can be used on those tabs so they have a little give if you need it. I used a room darkening material between two layers of patterned fabric. I did the curtains in the bow stateroom also. My 90's era curtains weren't coming clean anymore that's for sure.

I know this was posted a while back, but what did you end up doing? Can we still buy a replacement curtain? I can't find one...
