Head Doorknob
So where would I find a replacement knob set for the head? Doesn't seem like I could just walk into any hardware store and get a replacement for something that small?

Re: Head Doorknob
Post some pictures if you can. Something that vintage was probably made by Perko. Do you just need the knob or the whole assembly? I might have an old one where the lock was broke but several of the other parts are still good.

Re: Head Doorknob
Boat is still in transport so it will be a bit. Suprisingly, i didn't find any posts on what everyone is currently using for sealants. I want to freshen up the seals around the thruhulls above AND below the water and fill in a few screwholes above AND below the waterline. What do you recommend? Google search is all over the place and im familiar with the stuff I used 15 years ago but want to see if something better came out. Thanks.

Re: Head Doorknob
Here is a pic of the two I have. The left set is an entry door, but the knob might be the same. The other could be for any door, so it could have been used as an interior door too.
Let me know if either looks right.

Hello Ctmangrum…
I took a look at Great Lakes Skipper (a suggestion from km1125). Might be worthwhile. They seem to have a lot of hard-to-find OEM parts.

So for whatever reason, the door shut just fine when it got here. Appreciate the pics.
