Bomar N1039-10A Versus N1039-10P

Post by tonyiiiafl »

Any real difference except the external hinges versus the internal hinges? I need one for my 1994390 and I see the external hinges are backordered, but the internal are available at Defender.

Looks like it would fit as measurements are the same and I doubt the boat would know the difference?

Best,

Tony

Tony;

Last year I ordered a new screen for my hatch through the original manufacturer. The hatch was manufactured by BOMAR which is now known as Pompanette in the US. I dealt with Stephanie Allen at www.Pompanette.com. You can call them at 1-603-826-5791.

Not sure if you tried these guys for your replacement. I have a different model number than yours, however, the structure of the model number is the same.

Give them a try.

I spoke to Stephanie also! A great help. She got me the N1039-10A from the serial number on the hatch. Anyone used Hamilton Marine? A little more than Defender, but they have that one in stock, whereas Defender only has the internal hinged one.

Thank you.
