Re: Leaking Portholes 2000 396
Refreshing this a it. I took care of the gaskets a few are still leaking around the outside, where the stainless ring goes though the fiberglass. I am going to redo the bedding but I am curious if anyone has a suggestion on what to use? I was thinking of Sikaflex 291, but I don't know if that is too strong of an adhesive... Thoughts?

can't go wrong with that for sealing it. It's just harder to take them out in the future. The screws hold it in place, the caulk seals it off so you don't really need an adhesive caulk but it will seal as well.

Another option would be 3M 4000 medium bond marine adhesive.

You can also get replacement parts here https://www.greatlakesskipper.com/ or herehttps://www.defender.com/. I ordered a replacement porthole for our 3607 from Defender.
