QR_BBPOST Ya you don't want to be caulking at those temps. Check the label on the product.

The boat is actually in an old airplane hanger and is heated to 50 F. The caulk wouldn't be an issue - just don't really want to drive up there in the cold.

That's a nice setup. Wish I had that type of storage, well let's say I do but not willing to pay the crazy prices here. When you get around to install, please post how far out from the transom it is. I need to know if it'll work with my current (OEM) platform until I replace it with a bigger one.

It is a great setup. This will be the only year there because we are moving the boat to Lake of the Woods where there is no indoor storage that I am aware of! I will take lots of photos and measurements as we go and post it here.

So we just upgraded from our 1978 carver santa cruz to a 1984 3207 Carver Aft Cabin. The stairs are kind of an issue! The spiral stairs info you shared would be so helpful. I see that it was an old post, Im just hoping you can still share the information with us.
