New Owner of 2001 Carver 396

My wife, Louise, and I, Brian, are the proud new owners of a 2001 Carver 396 ACMY, Foxy Flamingo. We have been looking for the right 396 for over 4 years, and were more than a little surprised, to find her just a 2 hour drive from our home port. She has twin 370 hp Cummins diesels, bow and stern thrusters, all new Garmin electronics, and, the “frosting on the cake”, a Freedom tender lift. We are the local Harbour Hosts for the America’s Great Loop Cruisers Association (AGLCA), and plan to do the Great Loop aboard Foxy Flamingo in 2023/24. We will be spending this winter (2022/23) in New Bern, NC.

Welcome aboard! We love our 2000 396 although it has gas engines and not all the electronics although on the rivers in Western PA, we don't need them.
