Gasoline in hull in carver Mariner 350

I suddenly had 3-4 gal gasoline mid ship in the hull by the holding tank area. I can not find where I can come from. Help.

Not good. Check tank and all hoses and fittings for leak. The odor must be unbearable! The potential for explosion is very high. er

3-4 gals is a lot of fuel. Any signs of fuel or wet areas around the base or top of the fuel tanks? Did you fuel up recently, if so, the fill hoses are suspect. Other than a leaking tank/s, check the supply hoses to the engines and generator, and check fuel system components on the engines What engines are we talking about here?

Careful what you use to remove the fuel, and ventilate.

Welcome to the forum...... In that model, at the stern the engine compartment where the tanks and fills are is separate from the forward bilge area.......there is no bilge flow that I ever saw from stern to mid forward......

If it is gasoline down there leave the boat alone and get a mechanic to deal with it is my advice........be careful.

I once saw a different boat from this one had it's water tanks filled with gas......, but the water and pumpout on this boat are in compartments at the bow so a little harder I guess.
