Power Central
To some this would not fly. However, it is only myself and the bride. SO, I have my battery charger status and also condition and aux aft bilge pump mounted on teh side of teh steps coming up from teh aft cabin to the salon. I can look at it easily to see what is going on. Other side has the inverter and the water capacity gauge.

I like. I think putting things where it makes since for you is a good thing. You can't worry about the next person. I even question carvers decisions on things in my boat sometimes.

Re: Power Central
Thank you. I like to be able to see these things without opening hatches etc. I have the habit of seeing it each time I enter and exit. Makes me happy to know all is working as it should.

You bet, my victron battery monitor is Bluetooth so in addition to my panel mount I can keep up with my battery state on my phone. Nice to see it easily.

Re: Power Central
I put three Voltage meters in a corner next to the stairs. Directly on the battery banks so I can quickly see what state they are and if there is charging current arriving at them.
Besides that I have two little fancy colourful LCD's next to the common row of switches/fuses for 12V and 220V (I'm in Europe) system that also show what is connected to what. But the small meters are easier to get an update on what's going on.

Tony, it's your boat, so what ever works for you is just perfect! The ProMariner remote display is a good addition by the way.
