Have a 96 Carver 325. Equipping from a distance at the moment.
Ordering anchor chain, and unsure whether it is 1/4" or 5/16.
Can someone confirm for me please?
Thanks you
anchor chain thickness

Re: anchor chain thickness
Welcome aboard. You really want to confirm the make and model of the windlass as that's critical in determining the type of chain. There's no guaranty that the original factory windlass is still what's on there and if you get the wrong chain, the windlass either won't work properly or you'll wreck the gypsy in no time.

Re: anchor chain thickness
Maxwell Freedom 800 does use a 5/16" chain, this is what I have for a windlass and chain. There is also a Maxwell RC8 however it also uses a 5\16" chain.
