CARVER 42 FOOT MARINER HIT SAND WITH PROPS. NOW PORT SIDE RUNNING ROUGH OVER 2200 RPM. NO PHYSICAL DAMAGE TO PROP THAT I CAN SEE. IS IT POSSIBLE PROP TWISTED OUT OF BALANCE FROM HITTING SAND? ENGINE NEVER STALLED. PUT IN NEUTRAL ASAP. NO DINGS IN PROP.

When you say port side running rough, are you talking about the engine or do you feel a vibration from the running gear? If it's a vibration, your prop might have been tweaked enough to cause that but not visually noticeable, or you may have bent the shaft at the taper when the prop dug in. If it's a vibration, I would start by removing the prop and sending it in for assessment, and dial the shaft mid way and at the taper. While you're at it, check the strut bearing, and the strut alignment.

Boats are heavy and there can be damage to struts, shafts quite easily and quickly.....it won't take much out of alignment to create vibration like viper suggested.....go down and check the inside of the hull where the struts are mounted for any leaking around the bolts.....could just be a prop/shaft as well.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.
