1981 3007 - Replacement sliding window

Post by CaVaBien »

Hi!

I'm wondering if anyone would know where to obtain a replacement port-side sliding window for our 1981 3007. It looks like someone knocked off the embedded handle, which broke the interior layer of glass.

Thankfully, it's just one layer of the double glazing, so it's watertight, but it looks awful so hoping we can get a replacement pane somehow.

Thanks!

I've had replacement windows made at an auto glass place. I cut cardboard in the different shapes I needed and they cut, tinted and tempered the glass and it worked and looked great. If there's a CURVE to the glass it gets a bit more complicated. Mine weren't.
