I am using TarosTrade 244-0731-N-82621 Rear Wiper Arm. Absolutely spot on,you maybe able to get cheaper blade elsewhere but the price this product is better than I expected...I would even go as far as to say just as good or even better than original aquipment.. perfect fit.....the wiper is a little bit bigger but in my opinion that is a good thing ,it sweeps a larger part of the rear window
Greetings All! I’m new to this forum and hopefully soon will be a 1998 Carver 405 Aft Cabin owner (7.4 Horizon engines). We’ve signed a purchase agreement, awaiting survey, and sea trial. Hopefully we’ll take possession by Aug 30. This will be our first cruiser, although not our first boat, and we’re looking forward to all the pleasures this type of boating presents. If anyone out there has a 405/406 Aft Cabin I’d appreciate any info or advice you have to offer.

Hi! I am Tom and I live 5 miles west of Port Huron, Michigan. I owned one of the first Riviera boats made in 1982. I loved that boat but an ex-wife relieved me of all my assets and my dreams for many years (including the boat). This last fall, Oct. 2021, before gas prices went crazy, I was given the opportunity to pick up a 1986 model at a "give-a-way" price. I love this one (used) every bit as much as the new on I owned 38 years ago. Could anyone tell me what a recommended cruising RPM on the engines would be? I just want to hold it on plane and run economically. I have a pair of 230 Mercruiser engines on board. The compression reads like new specs. The transmissions have very clean fluid. I need to flush out the water tank(s). It currently tastes terrible.
Welcome aboard Tom. Congrats on your new acquisition. Hopefully another Riv owner will chime in with some numbers for you.
Don't even get me started on family law. It's the only court system where decisions are handed down based on zero evidence, and one party's word is enough to affect the other party for life.
My wife Kris and I have a 570 Skylounge configuration and just love it! We just went from Sarasota to the Exumas and it was wonderful! Our Nauti Girl did well and handled 4 ft seas on day one like champ. Nice weather is much more fun but anyone who says a Carver cannot handle the open ocean is nuts! Pleased to meet you all!
