New to this group, l am considering a Mariner 35 , early 2000's and wanting too see what other boaters think about that model
Recently selling a 29 ft Regal Commodore with twin 4.3 volvo penta
I had water leak situation that I could not pin point
Kept salt here in fl
Took boat north too St Augustine , cruising few hours ,
no indication of any issue , gauges were within normal range under load , but salt water was being flung off belt hitting top portion of engine , Discovered this at fuel dock , always open engine room hatch , visual , checking oi etc
engine was loaded with white film , salt
Did damage too costly electrical parts , not at first but one by one had too change
Limped back one engine
Thankfully ECM survived

Welcome aboard. You probably want to start a new thread in the "Models discussion" section so that you'll get better feedback. Responses here would get confused/confusing with the OP's issue.
