Carver 450 Salon AC unit

Does anyone know how to access to Air Conditioning unit for the Salon Area? I can't seem to find it.

Not familiar with your model Carver, but where is the air return grill? Most likely, the unit is directly behind the grill or within a couple of feet of it.

Behind the big couch. Two units on mine. Back unit feeds the stern. Front unit feeds the pilot house.

Thanks. I looked under it and can't see anything, but I guess I need to get behind it. Do you know how to remove the couch? It appears to be bolted down in inaccessible places.

On my 2000 450 the can be pulled out exposing the wall. On the port side you will find a wooden panel attached with Velcro. Carefully remove the panel to find the ac units. On starboard behind the sofa bed you will find a cavity behind the panel and various wires and vent lined for the fresh water tanks

Thanks. That helps a lot. Now I just need to figure our how to remove the sofa.
