396 in West Babylon

W Babylon, NY. Is anyone familiar with a 2002 396 located there? I'm looking at it and wonder if anyone knows the boat?

Not sure if your still eye balling her personally don’t know the boat but am in that area often if you want I could have a look before take a ride out here???

thanks but I passed on that one and bought a 2000 Silverton 392 and saved myself over $40,000.

I looked at that boat in August. It has the most beautiful interior a boat could have.
I believe the gas engines are new. The price seemed high, I found the same boat in NJ
which I just closed on.

When we looked at the boat the broker told us (confirmed by seller) that one engine was new, other rebuilt. Interior was almost like*new but close examination of fittings and joints around the deck(s) showed wear and stress - - e.g.; paint peeling at welds. And the instrument cluster bezels and switches on the bridge are severely weathered, probably should be replaced (>>>$$). And it is definitely overpriced.

When I asked about the engines if had any receipts or paperwork the idea was flatly refused.
It needed some minor fiberglass repair on the port side transom and there was a fibergalass repair
shop onsite. its about $35000 over priced in my book which is fine if the owner wants to keep it.
