I am a new yacht owner and just purchase a 1989 Carver 3207 that needs a carburetor for the Kohler 7kW. I was told it is a side mount. Does anyone know of a place in the Dallas-Ft Worth area that may have one even if rebuildable? I am trying to get it ready for the water in the next month. Any advice or help is appreciated.

You are going to need to find out what carb you have. Once you have the part number a quick google search will find you a new carb. I seriously doubt you can walk into a marine store in Texas and pick one up.
Start with getting the model and serial number of your unit and then do some searching.
