To answer your first post, the longest we have gone without shore power was 3 or 4 days. That was at a park with no power or water on the docks. I would run the genny 2-3 hours in the morning and again in the evening. Our fridge will run off of 12v so didn't need inverter for that. I do have a small inverter to run a tv and dvr but it doesn't get used much. I have 4 golf cart batteries for the house bank which seems to be plenty of power given the number of hours the genny runs.

Hans, thanks, I see your boat is larger. Some good tips here, such as keep the drinks in a cooler, and make sure the evap coil is ice free.

Your installation in your 2021 post is beautiful! You do good work,sir!
