what is difference between 8.1 Gil- E and 8.1 GiL - D
I need Wiring Harness 3863229 for my 8.1 GiL -E..They do not make anymore. I want to replace with 3862623 from 8.1 Gil - D
Volvo website does not have a replacement for 3863229 according to website. But how far off can 3862623 be? I have no choice. Other one burned in a fire.
Any suggestions would really help.

If you do find out what the differences are, you might be able to splice some parts from the old harness to the new one to adapt it.
I have no idea what the differences between the two would be, but I'd bet it's not too much.
