Replacement impeller

Post by Boulton060 »

Hello, I own a 1991 Carver 28 command bridge with crusaders 350's. What replacement impeller fits my boat? I purchased the Sherwood 10615-k . I was wondering if it would fit and recommended?
Thanks, Scott

It's listed as it should but when you take it apart I sure would compare it with old for sure. I use this same sherwood impeller in my 97 crusader xli 454s

I have 5.7 Crusaders. The impeller spec is the Sherwood 0615K. Another brand would be Sierra 3061. Should have 12 fins. You will need the paper gasket when replacing the impeller, so make sure you have one before you change out. Good luck! 8-) er

I think something to keep in mind would be to double check the water pump make etc. ...over time pumps can get changed/upgraded and may require different impellers than original.

Now that impeller is very common ( not saying it is the wrong one either) but all I am saying is to double check the installed pump application before purchase.....good luck with your maintenance.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.
