Thanks. I probably will be customizing a lot of the repairs and updating. Things like the little vanity lights will be replaced with LED lights. Some of the interior teak will be replaced with new teak. I envision a large amount of paint and a whole lot of sweat for this project.

There was also someone on CL just a couple months ago, I believe in western MI that was parting one out.
I will probably end up customizing much of what needs replacing/fixing. It will look like a Carver, but probably have some upgrades like LED lights instead of the small bulb lights for the vanity lights-- just one example. The interior is surprisingly good, it's the outside which will need a lot of work. Thanks for the good luck wishes!
Hello , JohnR here I purchased a 2006 466 back in fall of '17 . I've been boating since1978 and this is my 7th boat . started with 16' bow rider . The 466 is my second carver , back in 87" I had a 27 santego . I joined CYO back in 17 but didn't keep up with it but I'm going to try to keep up with thing this time. The 466 has D9 500's with about 2,200 hrs and kohler genny with about 7,400 hrs. we're on the Bohemia River. We use it a lot and love it.
Vessel Info: 1992 Carver 36 aft cabin with Volvo 740b engines. Westerbeke 5kw generator. Bought the boat in Portland Oregon in June, and a friend and I brought it up to Sidney, BC. Great trip!
Hi there, I’ve asked this question on a different topic, but I can’t figure out how to download a picture of our Carver into my profile? Can anyone explain how to do this to a computer dinosaur?
Thanks for any help!
