Vacu Flush switch

Hi all!!!!!!!! I have a 360 Sports Sedan and heard that some people have a "silent" switch ( basically an on and off switch) for the head power. If you do, where would it be installed. I would like to install one so that when we are not on the boat, we don't have to go to the engine compartment to turn off the power. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Don't you have a breaker in the DC panel for those?

Mine is right with the light and fan switch in each head. If you have one it will be labeled vacu flush run/sleep. Basically an on off switch conveniently located.

If you have a switch, and I can’t imagine you not having one, it will be right there next to the head and very obvious.
And why do you have to go in the engine room to turn it off? The head should have a breaker switch on your 12 volt panel.

Thanks for all the replies! The only breaker I have for the head is in the breaker panel in the front section of the engine compartment. None in the dc panel....none in the head area....

Not mine but the same. Only light and fan switch.. Only breaker in dc panel for the head it's for the forward head fan.

Wow that's pretty inconvenient. All you have to do is put a switch inline to the pump power but running it into the head might be a challenge. I don't have any idea about your layout. But I would install one somewhere that would be easy enough to get to even if its not ideally by the head.

Have you checked all the cupboards in the head, behind curtain, etc.? I've seen them in some pretty weird places.

I think considering....what if you have to use the head at night......you would want a switch in the head or very close to it. Also , have a real good look, they almost always have an easily accessible breaker without going in the engine compartment....

Hopefully, someone with the same model as yours can chime in.

I really never use the switch. If the head is cycling there is a leak somewhere. Mine never cycles. That being said, my forward head is not building vacuum like it should so I actually used the switch to turn it off yesterday until I change the duckbills that is. Probably going to get at her later today.
