state room port hole window replacements
I need to replace the stateroom port hole windows on my 1986 Mariner. Where can I find suitable replacements?

Re: state room port hole window replacements
You should post up a pic because there could be a lot of other models/years that use the same part, but folks won't know to respond because they're not sure exactly what type were on your vessel.
I'm guessing you have the 3697, as I don't think the smaller Mariners had any port holes. If true, then I think they were made by Grey Marine (or maybe it was Gray Marine). That company was bought out and now is owned by Pompanette, out of Florida. They still have some of the replacement parts and also have new assemblies. You'll need to know the size of your existing ones before they can help you, but their customer service folks have been pretty good.
If you get the part numbers for what you need, you might also shop around the Internet for them. Some retailers will sell them for a discount from the MSRP, which is what you'll pay buying them directly from Pompanette. They're still the exact same thing coming from the same folks, just a break on the price.

We had to replace a port hole on our 3607. Used the Pompanette site and called them a couple of times. Ended up ordering from Defender because they had one in stock. Pompanette was going to be a 3 - 6 month wait and more expensive. Also call any salvage places. You might get lucky.
