Dash switches.....

I need a NAV light switch for my old 1991 26 command bridge. West Marine was a no go. Did google picture search....close....but no. Really don't want to have to change both female end to match a diff swith if ya know what I mean.... Anyone have a connection?

I think the cover snaps off there and then it's a pretty standard switch underneath. What are all the numbers printed on the sides of the switch?

It's just a DPDT Carling switch. You can get the entire assembly or just the switch itself and install your existing rocker on it. Any brand of DPDT switch that will accommodate that rocker design will work. Is every terminal on the switch actually being used; 6 wires?

No number on switch. Just 12v Mexico Carling.

That I don't know. Just bought the boat. It's the nav light switch so I don't know why they would be. Gonna chase the wires today and see

Nav lights have a tendency of being left on and burning out. I know you want to change the switch but have you checked the nav light sockets for power?

The starboard one is good for sure. Port? Need to get it apart. The screw heads are stripped.

You would be surprised what you find inside those things.....sometimes a little cleaning of the socket and grounds then continuity check is all that is needed.

Got the lights working with the bridge switch. Still want to find a replacement for the cabin switch, but one issue solved. Thanks for all the replies
