Hello all!
I recently purchased a 1983 Carver 3207. So far my wife and I really like it. It is located on Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin.
Looking forward to learning as much as possible about it.
A HUGE thanks to Phrancus for posting the manuals for so many model boats. It really is a significant help.
On the documentation that he has gathered, I only found the single file (manual) for the 3207 model. Are there other manuals available for that model? Would manuals for other models provide similar information such as for the engines, transmissions, controls, etc?
The 3207 manual provides a lot of useful information, but there are many references to other materials in it which are not available in the file.
I look forward to poking around here and seeing what I can find.

Re: New to Carver's
The manuals for engines and transmissions would be separate, and depend on what the boat was provisioned with. Most of the 3207s came with Crusader engines and Velvetdrive transmissions, but not all of them. Find out exactly which engines and transmissions you have by looking for the stickers or placards on them.
There are several members on here who have had or still have 3207s. Those were a very popular model.
Welcome aboard!

Thanks for the response km1125. I do know they are Crusader 270hp engines in it. I don't know the transmission type yet.
I have been trying to download other files I found in the repository set up by Phrancus, but for whatever reason, it is not working tonight.

Welcome Aboard. Enjoy your 3207. I previously owned the smaller sister a 3007 prior to downsizing last year;

Welcome aboard and congrats on your new Carver. Do a Google search for your engine and transmission manuals, you'll find them there along with other hardware you might have like generator, air conditioning, ice maker, toilet, pumps, etc. There are also parts supply retailers on line that'll have parts breakdowns for various makes and models of engines, transmissions, etc. If there's a manual available, you can find it on line or a member here will have it.

Thanks Viper. I have been Googling away, but really need to spend a bit more time on the boat just documenting what I have.Viper wrote:QR_BBPOST Welcome aboard and congrats on your new Carver. Once I figure it out, if I can't find the manuals, I will be sure to ask here.
