It seems our anchor bail is missing. I can see the remnants of one on the port side. It looks to be mounted directly to the bow deck.
I have not been able to find a suitable replacement through any online window shopping. Any suggestions?
What risks should I be aware of for running without one? The rode is nylon.

Re: Replacement Anchor Bail
I never had one on one of the boats. Every now and then the rode would slip off to the side of the bow pulpit, but was never a big deal. That was with a three-ply rode though, I could see if it was chain where it might be an issue.

Re: Replacement Anchor Bail
Let me know if you find one. I am also looking for the same thing as my anchor line keeps coming off the roller while at anchor. It's just annoying having to reset it on the roller each time before I engage the windlass. I was thinking of just getting creative with some stock aluminum, a bench vise, and a hammer to make a replacement one.theorifice wrote:QR_BBPOST It seems our anchor bail is missing. Something like https://www.mcmaster.com/products/u-bol ... ncluded~4/ could be a good starting point. A pair of small mounting plates could be threaded on the end of the U-bolt and then mounted to the same screw holes on the pulpit.
