Vessel Info: 1992 Carver 36 aft cabin with Volvo 740b engines. Westerbeke 5kw generator. Bought the boat in Portland Oregon in June, and a friend and I brought it up to Sidney, BC. Great trip!

Hi, we have a 1992 Carver 3607 aft cabin, and the props are 20” X 22”. The boat tops out at about 3800-4000 rpm, and when I have the boat out of the water next year, I might get the prop shop to take an inch or two off the diameter, or two or three inches of pitch taken out. I like my engines to hit 4200-4400 rpm with full water and fuel tanks.
Btw, I don’t know if these are the factory props or not.

What gear reductions do you have in the transmissions? That will make a HUGE difference in what size props. Those are a little smaller already than what I had with a 3607 with 2.57 gears. I had 350HP Crusaders too. Mine were (stock) 22x22.

What does your prop guy say about this idea, the best way to proceed ?
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.
