Good day all!
I’m looking at various mini yachts in the 30’ range and came across a 1993 280 Sedan. I’m trying to gather as much info as I can on the model and figured this a logical place to solicit knowledge, experiences and things to look out for in consideration of this particular vessel.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. A little more info would be helpful. First of all, what information are you looking to get? Also, some info on your intended use of the boat and where, will tell us if that particular model is the right fit for your needs.

9'6" beam provides a roomier cabin then competitors. What kind of engine(s) does it have, and how many hours? It is a sterndrive, so be careful with condition of drives. Where are you located? I have a '95 330 Mariner with Crusader engines, very low hours ( 420 ), and V-drives. I have a friend selling his center console, so I would consider selling. This vessel is in beautiful shape, just had it compounded and buffed 4 months ago.

@buster53
We boat in SW WY on the Flaming Gorge. The boat would be used for pulling the kids on a tube, overnighting (wife and two kids 9 and 13), and I’d like to mount a down rigger for Kokanee fishing.
@Cooler the particular boat I’m currently considering has twin VP 430 with DP outdrives with 800 hours.

Not that it can’t be done, but I think you will quickly find 4 people overnighting will be tight.
Are you looking at a single or twin engine? If single, make sure it is a big block V8…454 ci. You will be disappointed in anything less.
