Welcome aboard, but you're going to need to be a lot more specific on what kinds of parts you need. Lots of folks on here willing to help, even several in many different countries that have probably had to deal with getting parts shipped or sourced internationally.

Carver made the hull. Most everything else came from marine vendors.
What do you need?
Thanks

Guys thanks for all the positive replies.
Genuinely very appreciative of the support so far.
Well where do I start for ‘what I need’
What I don’t need be a better question!!!
Long story short. I’ve decided to take a financial brain fart and have my vandalised very sorry of a state boat taken to a refurbisher and get it stripped back to bare hill and totally modernised and renewed.
Before you think I could’ve bought a much better boat for the 15 or so grand I’m into it for. I took the boat from a friend who passed away and live the boat more than his wife.
She has the aq171 Volvo penta which is rerunning and low hours. Apart from
That she’s being stripped and getting a wet room new appliances etc etc.
It’s a decision I made a little impulsively but am going through with it regardless of the financial impact as I’ve forked out a nail biting about with apparently little visual progress but I know the works being done to a very high standard.
I’ll be looking for things from materials for the furnishings to possible engine parts so any info on places I can directly phone would be great.
The boat builder working on her is NOT doing mechanical work so I’m getting a Volvo specialist for the engine, gauges steering and gear linkages etc?!
I’ve had small speed boats with outboards for years.
But this is a very different project.
Regards and thanks. John

One thing you get when you go for that total refitment is knowledge of what you have when you're done. On my first boat I tore it down to the fiberglass hull and rebuilt the whole thing. I knew where every wire and every screw was in that boat, and I had planned on keeping it a LONG time.

Good luck and keep us updated on your progress!! You might want to start a dedicated thread under the "projects" folder to archive what you've done!
