Hello, We have acquired a Carver 3607 at the end of the last season and I am trying to get some information about it. One particular question I have is the performance / speed of the cruiser at different engine speeds.
Does anyone have any info on estimated speed at idle, 1000, 1100 ..... 1600 rpms? Thanks in advance,

Welcome to the forum......you have a rare combo there I think. Only someone who has diesels like yours with the same props could be of any help. Gassers run in a totally different rpm range with different props and gears.

Seems we have the same rare powerplants. I just purchase my 3607 late summer this year, and put about 40 hours on the boat since. Purred like a kitten. I don't know about the specific power settings you mentioned but here is what I had recorded:
Idle 3-4 kts
1000 rpm 6kts
1500 rpm 7-8 kts
1800 rpm 8-9 kts
2200 rpm 10-11 kts
2500 rpm 13-14 kts
Full throttle (done during the Mech Survey) produced 18kts
I have 22 inch props, Don't know the pitch as the Prop Speed polymer obscured the stamp, but suspect they are coarser pitch than the originals
Average fuel burn over those 40 hours was just over 10L p/hr p/eng. I am pretty happy with that as my speedy boat days are behind me

Just an FYI, either run the boat at hull speed or less, 7 - 7-1/2 knots or get up on full plane. Running in between those 2 speeds puts strain on the engines and wastes fuel….your MPG’s at 11-12 knots is probably less than at full plane.
