Hopefully so! The bills are in the proper direction, couldn't get them all perfectly horizontal , some about 10 degrees off, logically that should not matter, right?

Orientation shouldn't matter. I've read where some people even align them 90degrees off from each other. Not sure it really has any impact though.

It's basically a check valve, it don't give a crap which rotation it is it put in. Pun intended.

We used your tip for the rear screws and that’s a great call. Also, as you said how it got quieter, very true! Noticeable difference.Alanna Mo Cree wrote:QR_BBPOST I was surprised by how quiet the pump got after changing the bellows. Hopefully this is a once every five years (or more) job.
One tip for putting it back in the boat is to have the mounting screws on the aft side screwed in the boat a little and then slide the pump assembly under them if you can. It's tricky, but I ended up doing that job multiple times. (Long story)
