- Vessel Info: 1992 Carver 36 aft cabin with Volvo 740b engines. Westerbeke 5kw generator. Bought the boat in Portland Oregon in June, and a friend and I brought it up to Sidney, BC. Great trip!

Hi, on our 4207, the microwave was held in by screws from the cupboard beside the microwave. We replaced ours with a regular house microwave, but the appliance store wrote down on the sales slip that it was going onto a boat, and they wouldn’t warranty it, so don’t tell them it’s being installed on a boat!

I just remembered, it was also screwed in from the head forward of the galley as well.
