Anyone have a recommendation for a battery for the genset?

There was a group 27 in there when I purchased our boat. When I changed it, I elected to go the same group size as my starting batteries which is a group 31 as I figured it could come in handy as a swap if something catastrophic would happen to one of my start batteries, in others words, a back-up. You don't need anything big, any 500 cca battery will work fine, even a group 24. Just make sure it fits in its dedicated spot if you decide to upgrade in size.
