Thanks for the tip. I know that my CO detector is older than 5 years so it's time for a replacement. I use a battery operated version and I know that it still worked last season but time for a new one.

First, you're probably taking about a CO detector, not a CO2 detector.
Second, probably not, unless a PO installed one. CO detectors were not the norm when those boats were produced. I don't know any that vintage that had them installed by the factory.
Most of those boats didn't even have fume sensors for the bilge installed at the factory. Those had to be added by the owners too.
