I've heard that before, all valves are currently working, just the one that goes to the generator leaks. The leak is not AT the thru-hull, but about 3 feet down the hose at some kind of junction. It's that junction I wanted to get a picture of but every one I tried came out too dark. When I get a good Pic I can ask about the junction!!!!

Sump boxes are almost always very close to your shower drain, usually within 1-2 feet. I have 2 showers on my boat and both sump boxes are 1’ from the drain.ohedron wrote:QR_BBPOST Sorry, just getting back! Found 5 of the 6 thu-hulls. I am missing thr one in the forward cabin, IF indeed there is one there. Still looking for the sump for the AC accumulator. But I am still looking. Alas, still no glory on finding the generator dipstick. That just means I will keep looking!@
THANK YOU everyone for your help.
One thru-hull, generator cooling, I think needs replacing, it leaks into the bilge right before the generator. Alas, it was too dark for pics, I will get some next time I'm there!!!
You mentioned not finding the thru hull in your forward cabin. What do you think it is for? Which ones did you find and their purpose?

That junction is probably your sea strainer. Close your seacock, open up the strainer to clean it if necessary and then close it back up, make sure you snug it down good and hoses in and out are tight.ohedron wrote:QR_BBPOST I've heard that before, all valves are currently working, just the one that goes to the generator leaks. I didn't get to the pumps today, they are still on my list. The last thru-hull is the possible 6th. There may not be one, but I want to do I able check.
Thanks for the info. I have one shower, and I was told 2 AC units. So I am looking for all those!!!!

Probably, both AC units drain to the same sump.
The possible missing thru hull…what is it for? The 5 you found, what are they for?

Engines, generator, guessing AC, the last one? I have no idea. Don't know if there even is a last one.

Re: Re: Some Information alluding me, PLEASE help!!
Ok, the AC cooling water thru hull will have a 120 volt water pump downstream from the thru hull, probably within a couple of feet of the thru hull. One thru hull will feed both AC units.
What about head/holding tank discharge thru hull? How about the thru hull to feed seawater to the head?
Earlier, you said you found 5 thru hulls…you only listed 4. What is the 5th one?

Just FYI - if your head is electric, you may not have a raw water feed to the head. Raritan advised Carver to draw water from the onboard water tank to the head, to avoid picking up sand and seaweed from raw water source.

OP’s boat is a 1986. I had a 1988, 3807 with 2, Raritan Crown heads. Both used sea water to flush.
