Hey Carver community!
Planning a stopover in Rome this summer with our Carver 42 during our Mediterranean cruise. I'd love to take the opportunity to visit the Roman Forum and Colosseum. Has anyone here done this excursion before? I've seen there are tourist passes and skip-the-line tickets (Roman forum tickets), but I'm not sure what to choose. Also, what's the best port to dock that's not too far from these sites?
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences!

Not done this by boat but getting around by train is very easy so you may not need to concern yourself too much with the docking situation but a easy access to the train system. Which the stop when we visited the colessum was almost across the street from it. The skip the line tickets are well worth the purchases.
