Have you found your sump pump yet?Barrett50 wrote:QR_BBPOST Thanks folks. I have all my bilge pump breakers on all the time. I also located all three bilge pumps and checked them for operation. I don't have a breaker panel of any kind in my master stateroom. I have a small panel in the engine bay which has a couple of vac-u-flush switches. I've never seen a sump pump breaker or button or anything there. I'll keep looking, but the book doesn't show anything except the oil changer breaker, two vac flush switches, and a breaker for the inverter. I'll have to hunt for the tank and switch on the stbd side, and see about testing it. I know where the black water tanks are located, guessing the sump tank and pump will be close by.

Re: 57 Voyager, shower won't drain
I'll bet this is where mine is too. I read further in the ops manual and found this:
2.2.1 Safety Breaker Panel
The Safety Breaker Panel, located in the engine room on the starboard
aft bulkhead, manages the power supply to various safety and other
equipment. Refer to 9.7.4 Engine Room for the exact location of the
Safety Breaker Panel.
I have seen the panel, and don't recall seeing the sump pump switch/breaker. I know the fwd and aft head switches are there, as is the oil change pump. Once I get back to the boat I'll go down and check that panel. While in there, I'll have a look at the sump pump location. I don't know if it was ever tested during the survey, but I know the shower was run, but it may not have run long enough to flip the sump switch to drain.

Haven't been back on board since starting this thread. I have a few things to look for. We may go to the boat on Tue.buster53 wrote:QR_BBPOSTHave you found your sump pump yet?Barrett50 wrote:QR_BBPOST Thanks folks. I have all my bilge pump breakers on all the time. Re: 57 Voyager, shower won't drain
OK, visited the boat and found the sump switches. They are in the engine room on the 'aux power dist panel'. It's got two switches one for 'aft sump' and one for 'fwd sump'. Presume this means one for the master suite, and one for the guest head. Both are on, and I think have never been turned off.
Anyway, the shower switch or sump motor is hosed up. The guy will come out next week and mess with my vacuflush and the sump sw or pump or motor. I can still poop in the guest head and shower in the master suite head. Just a little confusing.

Re: 57 Voyager, shower won't drain
Fixed my shower sump. One of the other guys in the marina near me suggested a very gentle plunger, may unstick the float switch. He was right, I just plunged it lightly a couple times and woosh, it all drained off.
Still dealing with a recalcitrant vacuflush. I'm hoping the guy shows up next week.

The reason why sumps are rarely, if ever turned off…that’s where your AC condensation drains to. On a hot, humid day, my sump will turn on a couple times a dayBarrett50 wrote:QR_BBPOST OK, visited the boat and found the sump switches. They are in the engine room on the 'aux power dist panel'.
