Hi All -
I am not QUITE a Carver owner yet, but set to do a Sea trial on a 2003 360 Sport Sedan this week. If all goes well, I own it on the spot and I will need to remove bridge and truck it to the St. Croix River. My question is: does anybody have any helpful hints, best practices, or just good advice you could share on this particular procedure on this particular boat?? ? I have hired a crew that has done a lot of bridge removal/reassembly, but I just wanted to be armed with as much info as possible since every boat configuration is different and want this to go smoothly.
Thanks in advance!! Here's to a great summer on a Carver!

One note of advice...don't let them cut ANY wires. All f Carver's wiring has quick connect plugs and are all labelled. Cutting would make reassembly REALLY difficult.

Thanks Kenny - I appreciate the feedback.
It sounds like just the throttle and steering cables are the only part that is not plug and play...

I am curious if you bought the boat and had it transported. I am a new owner of a 2004 Carver 360 SS and need to transport it and remove the bridge. I was curious about your experience. I was hoping to do the job myself with a few friends.

Hi mcgedb - sorry I just saw this post.
Yes - bought the boat, removed the bridge and put it all back together - I had the help of our Harbormaster from my marina, but it was fairly straightforward - just a lot of screws around the inside and a few on the back above the sliding door - and everything except for the throttles were unpluggable. Came back together great - very tight exact fit - the screw holes all aligned in the first try! Let me know how your project is going or if you need and specific advice!
