Final post on this topic - after procrastinating with the gelcoat part of this project, I finally finished it. Good grief, this one was hard and I lost interest along the way. About 2 weeks ago, we decided to move back to Lake Lanier GA and in order to save face with my fellow boaters, I needed to finish it up prior to returning to the lake. Here is the result, it looks pretty darn good, [img]

I like it I like it. Did you build with wood then glass it or just gel over wood?

Plywood, cut and nailed and glued, covered with sheets of fiberglass and resin, a lot of sanding, gelcoat by hand at first but decided I needed to spray the final coats which is comprised of the last 2 coats, and about 6 coats by hand. I learned alot by doing this project.
