I was hoping someone with a 638 or one of the other model numbers it was called (I think 3467 and 380) be able to measure the clearance they have from the prop shaft pulley to the stringer.
I currently have both engines out of my boat right now and I am kicking myself for not measuring this when they were still in but I am thinking about installing crank mounted water pump and getting rid of the belt driven ones. I would love to do this while the engines are still out. I know it will be tight with the clearance but just seeing if someone could measure for me to see if it is an option.

Re: 638 santego crank shaft clearance
You could get a close measure using the engine mount location on the engine compared to the boat stringer mount location. ....Then just measure from the crank to the engine engine mount and check that in the boat to locate the pulley in reference, then check the gap....at least get an idea.
Hopefully someone with the same boat and engine combo can do a more accurate check for you.
Perhaps put your engine make and size in your vessel info.

FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.
