Use synthetic if you run over 100hrs/year, otherwise 15w 40 Rotella T. Been using the Rotella T for ages in the boat and wave runner not to mention the Mercedes summer only car which sees no more than 2000 miles/season. Oddly enough since I am now with diesel power I will be once again sticking with Rotella.
