Give a few agents a call, as there a number of ways to buy it....agreed value is one , deductibles, time in the water, rules on layups etc. I believe most marinas require certain amounts of liability, which could be different in certain parts of the country. A little research wont hurt........

On the insurance you can also go for "agreed hull value" or "replacement value". Make sure you check both out and see which works best for you.

Welcome aboard Geoff. Great forum for Carver boats here. I'm sure you have cruised around the topics and noticed there is a lot of interaction here. Have you had your Mariner for a while?
