Looking to buy spare props for 2001 506

Looking for a spare set for my 506, size is 30 X 34.

Do you use ebay? Set up a search with automatic email notification. I would use two search terms, prop 34, and in the boat parts subcategory. Right now there are a few 34" but none 30 x 34. Just checked.

I've been watching for some time to get a set of 22 x 22 x 1 1/8 for the Mariner. Just scored a brand new pair of Michigan DynaQuads delivered for $1000. A buddy with the same boat hit a submerged log last year to the tune of over 1500 bucks for one prop, plus install while on vacation. And he had it overnighted since he had to ghet back.

When I had the 4207, I scored a pair for brand new Michigans for $95.00 each. Yes, that's ninety five. Plus 50 bucks or so for shipping.

I scored a left and right Mercury Stainless cleavers 17 x 33 19 spline for my SSMIII and IVs on PLain Vanilla. 300 bucks each.

It takes a while to find what you want, but if you have patience, you can save a ton of money.

Fred - yes I have had some luck with eBay but not with props. I can only imagine the freight cost to cross the border. If I could get a set cheap enough, say a grand or so - I would make the drive south. I found a set here but they are for the 405/406 with diesels, so only 24s. Thing is my props are brand new on the boat, so I dont "need" them. But, you never "need" them until you "need" them lol.
