Oil dipstick reading
Hi all. I have twin 454 Crusaders in a 1986 4207. I bought the boat about 3 months ago. The oil in both mains looks practically new. But how can you tell if they need oil with the mains slanted like they are? With the right amount of oil at an oil change, the dip stich would show way higher than the marks on the stick. Correct? Help!!

Re: Oil dipstick reading
If you haven't changed the oil, drain the old and add the correct amount. Then look at dipstick.
Should ease your mind.

Don't you just love it when a problem has such a simple solution. Wish they were all that simple.
