FUEL FILTER LOCATION

Post by djvj »

We need to know were the fuel filters are located for the 7.4/454 mpi engines on a carver 380 santego. She has been setting up for about a year and we would like to know the location before any problem might arise. First voyage is to be 60 miles on fairly fast flowing river 3 to 6 mph spring flow upriver, and even faster as you approach dams w 8 to 10 flood gates open. Not good if engines stall. :-O

If you're facing the front of the engine, is there a filter on the left side down low? It'll look like an oil filter and may be concealed by a black plastic cover. Typically, the oil filter is up hi on the right side.
