Looking if anyone had to replace parts for their Windlass Winch, last weekend had mounting from motor/gearbox to gypsy unit snap off. Could not find a model number on the unit, but know make to be a Lewmar, have searched the web and suspect my boat (1995, Carver 390 CMY) was equipped with and obsolete Lewmar "Concept 1" vertical windlass,
Q1. Was the concept 1 windlass a common unit on Carvers
Q2. any suggestions on were to source a replacement.

Can't really tell from the pics, but if it is factory installed, Caver used Maxwell windlasses. Do you have a pic of the portion above deck?

My 94 is equipped with a Lewmar windlass. I believe it is also a Concept 1.

Thanks all, do not have a picture of the Gypsy (top) but definitely a Lewmar (logo), will go with the Concept 1 model
