1986 Mariner 3297 New Owner

Greetings:

Sold my 1996 325 Aft Cabin but only lasted one season without a boat! Currently in Western WI at Alma Marina on the Upper Mississippi. Most of my experience is with the Columbia River out of Portland, Oregon.

Made an accepted offer on a 1986 32' Mariner, recognizing there's a lot of work cleaning and updating systems ahead. Dealing with the surveys (mechanical and hull) today. About 1200 hours on 350's Mercruisers. Reverse air and a generator, both of which seem to work but this is a new area for me. Also, trying to figure out if the Vacuflush works!

I am in Wabasha so close by. You will love the Mississippi River, it's beautiful. Head up to lake pepin for open water or spend some time on a beach, lots of options.

Welcome aboard John, I know you're going to like it here. Glad to hear you're getting back on the water again. Once it's in you, you're hooked and it's pretty hard to let go. We have a lot of advise on Vacuflush systems so ask away.
