Does anyone know how to remove the microwave from a 1998 405 MY?

If it's like my 405 I believe there are screws you will loosen that are underneath the shelf its mounted in. Have you looked up above the stove they would screw up into the microwave area from underneath

Sounds about right.....ours was screwed to a piece of ply from underneath and then the ply was screwed to the cabinet from underneath.....one screw was hidden behind the venetian blinds rail.Interesting, if factory .
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

Found that there were 4 screws above the range going into a piece of wood epoxied to the microwave.
