Hello all,
My name is Mike. Proud to be a new member, and Carver owner.
I bought a 1974 Carver Santa Cruz 2565, OMC 225 stern drive. Have not had a chance to put it in the water yet, had to do a few repairs first( well didnt have to, but i felt i needed to).
But i am very excited to have it, and hopefully soon be able to put it in the water.

I have done a lot of work since then, and it is no longer called the Bonnie Blue. I have sanded, and painted the bottom, along with patching a few holes in the hull, replace the transom seal, tilt motor. Shined the stainless, and sealed the chines, and swim platform. And that is just the outside. lol

hello,and welcome. since you said you renamed your boat and to get rid of any bad juju and keep Poseidon happy make sure you do a proper renaming cermony. i linked one in case you didnt know about it. best wishes
