Halogen lite circuit

Post by Gtaylor »

I have a 99 37 carver. Recently, 4 lites in a 7 lite string went off at once. The other 3 still work fine. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this occurred?

Is it possible they are a daisy chain where one goes dead and all the others downstream go dead as well?
I'm in the process of replacing all my halogen bulbs with LED's. A fraction of the electric current and the heat is almost cut in half, from 200+ degrees to under 120.
Amazon has a pkg of 10 for $9.99

They are not daisy chained through the bulbs, but are most daisy chained through the wiring behind the lights. You most likely burnt a connector off the back of the last fixture that still lights up.
